Testimonials
The place i call my “safe space”. A place where you are accepted, inspired and most of all confident in youself as a woman.
This place takes away every worry and keeps me focused on myself. The was definitely the number one factor in bringing me back every week. From taking pole classes, aerial lyra, chair, you name it! The energy is very positive and everyone is so so so supportive. It’s a no judgement zone for sure! I’m addicted!

Waikapu Danceworks is a great environment for working out and trying new movement styles in an emotionally safe and supportive environment.
I came for pole dancing and found so much more, including classes that work for my 12 year old daughter. It’s a great community of people of all ages and bodies building each other up on our journeys to stronger bodies and loving ourselves!

I love that this dance studio offers free classes to the community and is welcoming to all levels.
It’s a clean, warm, safe space to be authentically and unapologetically you. It is a judgement free zone and full of good vibrations. At the end of the shakti rize class I felt connected and empowered with my divine feminine energy. There is a great selection of classes to choose from and I look forward to meeting more instructors, connecting with fellow members, and attending different classes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if it’s my first class?
Great! Welcome! We’re glad you’re here. We aim to welcome everyone equally and provide a safe, supportive environment. No matter your level, our instructors are trained and ready to assist you with variations and modifications specifically for you. If you have concerns, please reach out. To ensure a smooth start to class, please arrive 10-15 minutes before class so you can get yourself situated, check-in, and sign any waivers. If you’re running behind, just call the studio or reach out to your instructor.
Once class begins, there is a 15-minute grace period before you’ll be unable to enter class for safety reasons. Remember: No one knows your body better than you; if something feels weird, let us know! We will happily provide you modifications, or you can sit out an exercise if you wish. No pressure.
And as it’s your first class, make sure to take advantage of our first-timer specials HERE and be sure to check out our “What ti Expect in Your First Class” article and the FAQs !
What do we wear?
This is one of the most asked questions we get (and the reason we sell clothing at the studio). We have made this handy-dandy cheatsheet for what to expect and what to wear in your first class. Read it HERE. When in doubt, call us…or just wear something comfortable, bring a paid of shoes just in case, and always bring water.
Where do we park?
Waikapu Danceworks has designated parking spots in the front of the studio, and it’s first come, first serve. You can also park anywhere along either side of the street before or after the studio. There is also a crosswalk and bus stop directly in front of the studio! We also recommend carpooling for parking, and because it’s always more fun to workout with a friend!
How do I sign up?
Waikapu Danceworks highly recommends signing up online, in advance. You will need to download our app and create an account and after that, it’s smooth sailing. You can see our current online schedule and register HERE. You will need to purchase a class package, membership, drop-in, series, or workshop before you are registered.
