Pole Classes

Discover Pole

Also called The Nibbler. Have you always wanted to try pole dancing, but you are afraid to commit? We have the solution! This nibbler will give you a taste of how fun, sexy, and empowering pole dancing can be! Warm up your body with some sassy stretches and exercises, and learn some basic, spins, steps, and skills on the pole! No need to be shy! Your classmates will be newbies just like you! Bring a friend! No heels. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. No rings, watches, or bracelets.

Mixed Level Pole

A new spin on fitness! This is a mixed level class, so no matter your level, you will learn the move that is just right for you! Class begins with a sultry, Pilates and dance-based floor warm-up and workout, then moves to the poles for sport-specific conditioning, spins, choreography, climbs, and inverts (when you’re ready). No shoes. All levels welcome from beginner to advanced. 

Prerequisite: Intro to Pole 6-Week Series or instructor permission

Pole Conditioning

Gain strength and flexibility in this fast-paced pole conditioning class! We start with stretching and mat exercises and transition to circuit exercises both on the floor and pole! Break a sweat and watch your pole practice grow leaps and and bounds! Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and remove any rings, watches, and bracelets prior to the start of class. Avoid application of oils and lotions before class. No shoes. Previous pole experience recommended, but not required. Please bring water.

Intro to Pole 6-Week Series

Develop a pole dance foundation during this 6-week series! A progressive introduction into the world of pole fitness including many moves you will need to advance into subsequent higher levels of pole. This saucy class heats up with a Pilates based sensual warm-up and sultry transitions, beginning pole spins, physical conditioning, and a little fun choreography. Please wear comfortable clothing. No shoes. Remove any rings, watches, and bracelets, and avoid applying any oils or lotions prior to the start of class. All fitness levels welcome!

Pole Choreo Series

Get dancing! Let’s give your pole work some flow in this choreography-based class. This class starts with a dance-based warm-up and stretch and then transitions to the pole to progressively build some fun and flirty choreography. This is a beginning and intermediate class.

Prerequisite: Intro to Pole 6-Week Series or instructor permission

Beginning Pole Level 2- Climbs & Combos

Elevate your pole skills! A progressive exploration into climbs and combinations on the pole. In this 4-week series, learn the basic skills and conditioning needed to safely take yourself up the pole and off of the floor and learn to put basic spins and moves together into flowing combinations! Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Shorts or grip leggings required. No shoes. Remove all rings, watches, and bracelets prior to the start of class. Please avoid applying any lotions or oils prior to taking class as this will make gripping the pole more difficult. 

Prerequisite: Intro to Pole 6-Week Series or instructor permission

Spin Pole

Set yourself up for spin pole success starting with simple and pretty beginner-level shapes! Class starts with a full body warm up, then progresses through 3-4 moves per class. At the end of class, we have the opportunity to practice the moves in a combo and some freestyling. By the end of the series, you should have improved body awareness and be able to string together your own ethereal spin sequence! Wear comfortable clothing that allows skin/grip, ideally available in armpits and inner thighs. Please remove rings, watches, and bracelets before class. No heels. This is a beginner class with intermediate/advanced options upon request. All fitness levels welcome.

Aerial Classes

Discover Aerial

Have you always longed to be airborne?  Ever dreamed of running away to the circus?  Have you pondered what the world looks like up-side-down?!  This is a chance to dip your toe into the waters of the delights of the aerial arts!  This 90 minute workshop begins with a fun warm up and stretch and moves into an introduction to aerial hammock and aerial silks.  Learn the similarities and differences between these two apparatus while exploring basic shapes, inversions, and poses with newbies like you!  All fitness levels welcome! Please wear comfortable tight fitting clothing that covers your underarms, midriff, and backs of knees. Remove all jewelry prior to the start of the workshop.

Aerial Lyra

The circle apparatus that will remind you of a jungle gym while hanging from your knees and hands! This series is designed to get you comfortable on the lyra moving through 3-5 moves in each class. Please wear clothing that covers your underarms, midriff, and knees. No rings, watches, or bracelets. Perfect for the complete beginner, students will be introduced to the lyra, also known as the aerial hoop or aerial ring.  In this class series you will safely learn poses and explore moves on and above the hoop.  As you become more advanced, you will spin the apparatus as you execute skills and poses.  Learn to be airborne and move with grace on this beautiful circular apparatus. NO AERIAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Aerial Silks

Have you always wanted to run away and join the circus but don’t know where to start? Help is here! Completely customizable for all levels, Aerial Silks is the perfect way to make your fantasy a reality. Learn everything you need to know to safely start your circus journey in this 4 week series. This class will teach you how to climb, flip, and swing your way to success!  No experience necessary. You’re comfort and safety are of upmost importance to us! For this reason we require full coverage fitness attire. Underarms, torsos, and knees should be completely covered by close fitting clothing. No jewelry is allowed during class as it can get tangled in or damage the silks. Hands and feet should be clean, dry, and bare. Avoid lotions and body oils before class as they can cause slipping.

Aerial Yoga

Looking to elevate your fitness or yoga practice? In this class, you perform some of the same poses you do on a yoga mat using a silk hammock that is suspended from the ceiling as a prop to support you.  Improve flexibility and build strength while exploring more challenging poses without added pressure on your shoulders, spine, or head! .  Every class includes an inversion to encourage lymphatic flow and give room for the spine to stretch (not to mention it’s a blast).  All levels are welcome! Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Cover underarms, midriff, and the backs of your knees. Remove any rings, watches, or bracelets prior to the start of class.

Fitness Classes

Bungee

Take flight like a superhero and feel like a kid in this fantastic and fierce workout! Bungee Fitness is an innovative workout for anyone looking to have fun and try something new! Initially designed for rehabilitation, resistance provides an aerial experience and minimizes jarring impact on joints while providing high cardio and muscle toning. Once you try bungee fitness, you’ll be hooked! Expect a few good laughs and high-flying fun. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and scuff free athletic shoes. All participants must be weighed before class to calculate appropriate resistance and must be fitted for a harness. Please bring water.

Barre

Get long, lean, and toned from head to toe!  This low to no-impact workout focuses on small movements to get big results!  Ballet-inspired barre and floor exercises target your butt, legs, core…everything!

Flexibility & Conditioning

Gently stretch out stiffness and stress with this all-levels mat based class. Learn how to release muscle tension and increase your range of motion. Stretching helps in injury prevention, muscle coordination, posture improvement, sports performance, and stress reduction. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.

Kick-Booty-Boxing

Punch, kick, and sweat in this high-energy cardio workout! No experience is needed. Come ready to get that aggression out and jam to some awesome music!

Sexy Stretch

Join us for a Pop-Up class (not on the regular schedule) featuring a sexy guided stretch perfect for all levels of flexibility! Class kicks off with low sensual lighting and a custom sexy playlist. BYO favorite beverage or snag a sip from one of our offered beverages! Please reach out ahead of time to reserve your spot for this awesome event!

ShaktiRize

WOMEN ONLY. Please bring your own mat and water!!! In Hinduism, the word “Shakti” means “empowerment” or “power” and is the concept of the personification of the divine feminine creative power. ShaktiRize provides a powerful and transformative learning environment that has helped countless women step into their feminine power and shine their light with the world.

Buti Yoga

Buti Yoga is a dynamic and empowering practice that blends traditional yoga with tribal dance and plyometrics, creating a high-intensity workout that engages both the body and mind. This class promotes self-expression, confidence, and a sense of empowerment by combining deep abdominal core work, primal movements, and energetic flow sequences. It’s a transformative experience for both physical and mental well-being for ANYONE.

Youth & Keiki Classes

Keiki Aerial Silks & Lyra

Introduce your Keiki to the aerial arts! This class is designed to welcome children to the aerial arts through exercise, physics, and fun!  Children will interact with aerial hammock and aerial silks in their first few classes to familiarize them with each apparatus and may also get to use the aerial hoop. Each class begins with a fun and interactive warm-up with strength training, tricks, and sequencing and progresses through new tasks and moves as your child continues to learn and grow stronger. Please send your child in comfortable clothing that they can move in. Backs of knees, midriff, and underarms should be covered to decrease occurrence of discomfort and chaffing. Please bring water. No spectating during class.

Keiki Musical Theater

Join us for this Broadway inspired intro to musical theater! This Youth Musical Theater Series is to get children ready to perform for productions that focus heavy on storytelling and performing. Musical theater dance takes from many dance forms and this class will cover some of the basics to help get you emoting, projecting into the audience, and finding that inner sparkle that makes you who you are! We will begin with acting and body warm-ups to condition the dancer, followed by choreography for a short routine.

Keiki Jazz Series

Join us for this awesome intro to jazz dance keiki series! This Jazz Series is designed for young ones wanting to learn basics of Jazz technique! Jazz is an expressive dance that is driven by musical rhythm and varying dance techniques from different genres of dance. We will start with a warm-up designed to tune us into our bodies, followed by exercises designed to focus on turns, traveling, and stage presence! Get ready for all that is . . . JAZZ! Please send your child with water and dressed in comfortable clothing that they can move in. Jazz shoes strongly recommended. No spectating.

Adult Beginning Ballet

Explore your inner ballerina in this beginner level introduction to ballet. Class starts with a warm up at the barre, then transitions to stretches and skills in the center of the floor, and then to movements across the floor. Class ends with a small piece of choreography. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Ballet shoes recommended, but not required.

Adult Dance Foundations

Always wanted to dance? Used to dance, but it has been a while? Looking to move your body in a new way? It’s never too late! This class focuses on the basics of dance movement and technique. We begin with a fun stretch and warm up to strengthen, lengthen, and prepare our bodies for movement. Class then transitions to exercises at the center of the floor designed to build balance and coordination, and breaks down basic movements and skills to help create a solid foundation for both classical and contemporary dance movements. Join us for this fabulously fun foundational class!

All fitness and experience levels welcome!

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Dance shoes recommended but not required. Please bring water.

Adult Musical Theater

Musicals, Musical Revues, and many other types of productions require actors that can sing and dance. This Adult class will help with the dancing bit! We will focus on  building  skills such as: connecting with audiences, refining movement for group productions, and creating a foundation to pull movement techniques from when auditioning or performing. Join us each week for a warm-up, technique building, across the floor, and improvisation exercises.

Burlesque Series

Welcome to the empowering and intriguing world of burlesque! No nudity or experience necessary. Leave your inhibitions behind and explore a progression of some bumps, grinds, wiggles, and shakes to help you find your own fun, flirty, and ferocious femme flow! Build a full routine through this series and enter the tantalizing art of the tease, a world full of rhinestones, glitter, feathers, and fun! Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Heels encouraged, but not required. All fitness levels welcome!

Intermediate Tap

Know your shuffle, flaps, and Shirley Temple? This open class is designed to take basic tap steps and begin to combine them into dance phrases! Find your focus in musicality and keeping your phrases in time with the music. Each week class starts with a warm up, transitions to moves across the floor, and finishes with a short tap combination to put things all together! Dust off your tap shoes and we will see you in class!

Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in. Tap shoes are strongly encouraged, but not required. Remember to bring water!

Lap Dance

Always wanted to give your partner a special dance just for them? Have you been looking for another excellent way to utilize that new kitchen chair?!? Waikapu Danceworks has you covered! This 90-minute lesson starts with a short sultry chair based warm up, then moves to some lap dance rules and basic moves, and progresses you through an entire routine! (Studio and instructor are not to be held liable for any resulting proposals or pregnancies!) Please bring a positive attitude, open mind, and a sense of humor.

Social Dance

Learn the basics of both sole and partnered Charleston, Swing, Salsa, Blues, and more as we progress and build our skills! No partner required. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.

Swing Dance

A Crash Course in Swing – with Christine Corey

This is the perfect introduction to swing dancing and partner dance in general. We will start with the basics and work our way up adding turns and moves. Each week new material including dips and combinations will be taught as well as vintage swing stylings to add flare to your dancing. Christine Corey has taught thousands of people to dance. Young or old, big or small, everyone is welcome. No partner needed!

Tap Dance

It’s here! Learn the art of tap dancing with Aaron! Tap is an American dance form combining Irish dance footwork with African rhythms and movements. In this series, build a foundation of how we create tap steps. Class then transitions to some of the more complex steps and combinations of tap (cramp rolls, maxi fords, timesteps, etc.). The series will bring these steps together into a routine!

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and bring water. Tap shoes are recommended, but not required. Leather soled shoes or athletic shoes may be worn in place of tap shoes.

Dance Classes
